Prior to founding Fugue Capital, Josh was President of the Dallas-based real estate company 42 Real Estate, which developed industrial properties across the United States and Canada. Previously, he was a Managing Director at FTI Consulting, a publicly traded consulting firm, where he advised financially distressed companies as well as their creditors. While at FTI he worked on 29 restructurings with a total aggregate debt of $46.6 billion. Prior to obtaining his M.B.A. Josh was a Vice President – Loan Risk Manager at BBVA Compass, where he managed a portfolio of over $300 million in small business loans. He started his career as a Credit Analyst at Citizens Bank in the Houston area.
Josh holds a Bachelor of Music with elective studies in business from Wheaton College, and an M.B.A. in finance from the University of Texas at Austin. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst Charterholder. He previously served on a subcommittee of the board of the Dallas Association of Young Bankruptcy Lawyers and currently is a member of the Chartered Financial Analyst Institute.
Josh enjoys singing in the choir at Park Cities Presbyterian Church with his wife who is also a Wheaton graduate and helping his two young sons explore the world around them.
